The Catholic Women of Holy Disciples Parish will hold its first meeting of the 2024-2025 season on Monday, Sept 9 at 6:30 pm in Fr. Filip Hall at St. John The Evangelist Church. All women of both our Churches are invited to attend! We will be getting together for prayer and a business meeting to discuss our plans for the coming year! Fr. Antony Prakasam, our Parochial Vicar, and Grace Cuccia, our Church Communication Secretary, have been invited to our meeting so that we can meet them personally Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The Holy Disciples Bereavement Ministry will hold their monthly support meeting on the third Monday of every month at 1:00 pm in the Faith Formation Conference Room at Sacrament of Reconciliation

Our first meeting of this new season will be next Tuesday, Sept. 17 at St. John’s hall. (6:30 pizza . 7:00 talk begins). Refreshments to follow. To kick off our new season we will have our own Fr Antony Prakasam. His topic will be “Reclaiming The Bible & Revitalizing Catholic Faith and Living” . Pumpkins will be arriving on Thursday September 26, and we’ll need plenty of help to off load about 1500 pumpkins, big and small, onto our front lawn. We have been grateful to have so many come out in past years that, together, we have completed this task in less than 60 minutes. Can we count on you again? Crossroads 4 Christ

The next time Holy Disciples Parish is scheduled to supply and serve the noon meal is this Saturday. If you can supply a 2 lb. cooked meat loaf, cans of vegetables, or would like to help serve, please Bring your meat loaf and vegetables to the St. John Church parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday We are also seeking volunteers to serve the meal. Choose a 9AM-12:30PM or 11AM-2PM shift, or stay for both. Follow us down to the Soup Kitchen. You won’t regret it. Bottle & Can Drive to Benefit Holy Disciples Parish Choir trip to Italy! St. John the Evangelist Church parking lot Every 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00 – 10:00 am (The same time as our meatloaf drop off!)
