Life Teen International is a high school youth ministry program that we are happy to offer here at Holy Disciples Parish. Our youth minister, Peter Ryan, a graduate of this program himself, and his core team warmly welcome all high school age teens (grades 9-12) to a night of faith and fun on Saturday at 6:15pm Our ministry seeks to give teens a place to connect and to be nourished in their continued faith journey as they receive the sacrament of Confirmation and grow into adulthood. Life Nights take place every other Saturday at 6:15pm in Fr. Filip Hall, downstairs in St. John the Evangelist Church. following the 5:15pm mass. We hope to see you there!

We are very pleased and honored to have Fr. Anthony Federico as our guest speaker for the evening. Fr. Anthony has a unique story he will be sharing about his path to Vocation to the priesthood . His talk is entitled “From ESPN to the Priesthood” Fr Anthony is currently the vocation director for the Archdiocese of Hartford. His drive and passion is infectious and encouraging. I urge you all to come and to bring a friend. Please spread the word, especially focus on inviting our young men or any man who may have even the slightest interest in a vocation !! We will be meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 16 (this coming Tuesday) in the Fr Philip Hall, St John’s. Pizza at 6:30. Talk to begin at 7:00. Refreshments to follow. The Holy Disciples Respect Life Prayer Group will meet on Wednesday, January 24 at 7pm in the Faith Formation Center at 9 Academy Hill Watertown. They pray a rosary for life and discuss plans for the late winter and spring. All are welcome to attend.

The next time Holy Disciples Parish is scheduled to supply and serve the noon meal is this Saturday. If you can supply a 2 lb. cooked meat loaf, cans of vegetables, or would like to help serve, please Bring your meat loaf and vegetables to the St. John Church parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday We are also seeking volunteers to serve the meal. Choose a 9AM-12:30PM or 11AM-2PM shift, or stay for both. Follow us down to the Soup Kitchen. You won’t regret it. Bottle & Can Drive to Benefit Holy Disciples Parish Choir trip to Italy! St. John the Evangelist Church parking lot Every 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00 – 10:00 am (The same time as our meatloaf drop off!)
