Catholic Women of Holy Disciples Parish will meet on Monday Oct. 2 at 6:30 pm in Fr. Filip Hall, St. John The Evangelist. Colleen D’Amico, RN, a member of Catholic Women, will be doing a presentation on how to use an AED Automated External Defibrillator. We are pleased to announce that Colleen was able to get two such devices donated to our Parish, one for each Church. This is a wonderful donation that can be used to save lives. Our next men’s group meeting will be on Tuesday October 17. It will be held in Fr.Filip Hall at St. John the Evangelist Church. Our speaker will be Giovanni Calderon. He will be sharing his testimony and a reflection on Luke 15:7 (“ there will be more rejoicing in heaven over 1 sinner who repents than over 99 righteous “). Join us for Pizza at 6:30 and the talk will begin at 7:00 pm. All men of the Parish are invited!

The next time Holy Disciples Parish is scheduled to supply and serve the noon meal is this Saturday. If you can supply a 2 lb. cooked meat loaf, cans of vegetables, or would like to help serve, please Bring your meat loaf and vegetables to the St. John Church parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday We are also seeking volunteers to serve the meal. Choose a 9AM-12:30PM or 11AM-2PM shift, or stay for both. Follow us down to the Soup Kitchen. You won’t regret it. Bottle & Can Drive to Benefit Holy Disciples Parish Choir trip to Italy! St. John the Evangelist Church parking lot Every 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00 – 10:00 am (The same time as our meatloaf drop off!) If you have redeemable bottles and cans that you’d like to donate to the choir trip, bring them when you bring your meatloaf! Thank you!
